DAY 1

DESTINATION: ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

ACTIVITIES: ARRIVAL, MEET, ASSIST AND TRANSFER TO THE LODGE. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport following your flight from your country of Origin. Your tour guide will be on standby to welcome you to Uganda. While you are in Uganda, you will have a chance to visit many parts of this beautiful land. During your journey to your hotel, your guide will continue to give you more insight about your safari and Uganda in general.
DAY 2

DESTINATION: MABIRA FOREST

ACTIVITIES: TRANSFER TO MABIRA. After breakfast, you will be picked up by your tour guide. He will then transfer you to Mabira forest in the Eastern part of Uganda. Upon your arrival, you will start a forest walk through Mabira forest which is home to many birds. Mabira is the countries treasure and one of the biggest forests in Uganda. It offers birding activities, forest walks, picnics, bungee jumping, and others. The forest is rich with over 300 species of birds like the Great Blue Turaco, African Pitta, Nathan’s Francolin, African Grey parrot, Hornbill species, and a variety of sunbirds. You will have a picnic lunch in the forest and then continue with the search for birds. At the end of the day, you will retire at the forest lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3

DESTINATION: BUDONGO FOREST RESERVE

ACTIVITIES: TRANSFER TO BUDONGO FOREST RESERVE. After breakfast, you will depart for Budongo forest reserve in Masindi. This forest is located in the North Western Uganda and the only surviving largest natural forest in Uganda. It is also the largest mahogany forest in East Africa harboring large spices of birds. It also has the oldest mahogany trees. Don’t miss out on learning the history of this forest which is quite interesting. The journey will be rewarding with beautiful nature and homesteads. You will have a stopover for lunch and then continue to the forest. Upon your arrival, you will check in for the night at your lodge.
DAY 4

DESTINATION: BUDONGO FOREST RESERVE

ACTIVITY: BIRDING. Following breakfast, you will be guided by a forest ranger through the forest to look for birds. The forest is very big but you will start with the Royal mile part of the forest. This place harbors a variety of bird species such as crowned African pied hornbill, Bat hawk seen at dusk, the chocolate backed blue breasted, African dwarf kingfisher, white-tithed hornbills, yellow-billed barbets, and many others. This forest is one of the most significant birding destinations in Uganda. Expect to have a memorable experience. You will have lunch and then continue with the bird search. Later in the evening, you will retire to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.
DAY 5

DESTINATION: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: BIRDING AND TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK. Your birding experience continues! After breakfast, you will be driven to another part of the forest called Kaniyo Pabidi for more birding. You will enjoy different bird species such as Puvel’s Illadopsis, rare green breasted Pitta, and many more. As you head towards Murchison Falls National Park with its undescribed beauty, here you will be able to view a number a variety of birds. Lunch will be available along the way. Your day will conclude at the lodge in a nice relaxing atmosphere.
DAY 6

DESTINATION: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: BOAT CRUISE ON THE NILE. Wake up to your breakfast before going for the amazing boat experience on the famous River Nile. You will take a boat ride with a guide to the bottom of the falls. The 2 hours boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls departs at 9 am. During the boat cruise, you will see different animals and birds. On the left-hand side of the river Nile, concentrate on Birds like Goliath heron, African Darter weavers, Fulvous Ducks, Egyptian geese, African skimmer, and pied Kingfishers will be seen. After the boat cruise, you will be transported back to the lodge for lunch.
DAY 7

DESTINATION: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: GAME DRIVE AND BIRD WATCHING ON THE VICTORIA NILE. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the northern side of the park which is rich in wildlife for a game drive. Through the savannah, you will see different bird species playing on the trees and flying in the air. You will have your packed lunch and then proceed to the airstrip that leads down the edge of the Victoria Nile delta. While at the Nile, scan the papyrus edges for the resident shoebills, blue breasted bee-eater, and swamp flycatchers. You will then head towards the Albert Nile track to watch out for black scimitar bill and white billed barbet. You will conclude your day by returning to the lodge.
DAY 8

DESTINATION: SSEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: TRANSFER TO SSEMLIKI NATIONAL PARK AND VISIT SSEMPAYA HOT SPRINGS. Get ready for a wonderful experience! After breakfast, you will leave for Ssemuliki National Park situated in the rugged Rwenzori Mountains well known for the best birding experience. These include some of the mainland spectacular birds like Long tailed Hawk, Nkulengu rail, black-wattled horn bill, and Lyre-tailed honey guide. Semuliki National Park is the only park in Uganda composed with tropical lowland forests. You will have lunch before proceeding to the park. Following lunch, you will visit the amazing Ssempaya hot springs. The locals refer to as being female and the other as a male. The hike to see these hot springs, you will lead you to see other forest wonders as well vegetation diversity. The female Ssempaya is hot to the extent that one can boil an egg and a banana. After this adventurous day, you will return to the lodge.
DAY 9

DESTINATION: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: BIRD WATCHING AND TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK. Prepare yourself for a new and exiciting day. After breakfast, you will move out for another bird watching experience in Ssemuliki National Park. You will walk to different birding locations where you will see a variety of bird species. After lunch, your journey to Kibale Forest National Park will begin. This moist ever green rain forest contains a diverse array of landscapes and is famously known for harboring the largest number of chimpanzees in the country. It is also known for having different types of bird species. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge and prepare for your next adventure.
DAY 10

DESTINATION: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: BIRD WATCHING. After an early morning breakfast, you will be guided for birding in the kayankyu area where you will see birds enjoying and singing in the trees . You will watch out for birds like the African Goshawk, the majestic crowned eagle, masked apalis, grey parrots and many more. A picnic lunch will take place in the forest. In the afternoon, you will head to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary through the Magombe swamp to see birds such as papyrus Gonolek, papyrus canary, mosque swallow, and brown headed Tchagra. Retire to the lodge for the rest of your evening.
DAY 11

DESTINATION: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NP AND BIRD WATCHING. Today, after taking your breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular destination. The park is rich with beautiful savannah, the Kazinga channel and wild life. On arrival to the park, you will have lunch and drive off to Mweya peninsula to look out for wide spread grassland species such as Marsh Tshagra, croaking Cisticola, migrant harriers such as Pallid and montagu’s and many others. After enjoying this bird experience, you will drive to the lodge where you will have your dinner and Overnight.
DAY 12

DESTINATION: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT RIDE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL. Wakeup to your tasty African breakfast and then get ready for a game drive through the Northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. On this game drive you will look out for birds which stay in this area such as common squacco Heron, Glossy and scared Ibises. After lunch you will head out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The Kazinga Channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George, it will bless you with a very good opportunity to view different wildlife in and outside the water plus different species of birds enjoying this fresh environment. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 13

DESTINATION: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: GAME DRIVE IN ISHASHA AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI. Arise and get ready for the new day. Report for breakfast at the lodge before you set off to Bwindi through Ishasha, the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Ishasha sector is famously known for its unique tree climbing lions which are only found in this place in Africa, watch out for birds. After the game drive, you will have lunch and then continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival, you will check in the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 14

DESTINATION: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: BIRDING. Have breakfast at the lodge move to the forest following the waterfall trail for bird watching. Look out for birds such as kivu ground thrush, white bellied Robin-chat. In the afternoon go birding on a short trail to Mubwindi swamp to watch out for birds like the African Green board bill, montane oriole, Turacos and many others. At the end of the day, retire at the lodge for the night.
DAY 15

DESTINATION: LAKE BUNYONYI

ACTIVITIES: TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI AND BOAT CRUISE ON THE LAKE. Following your breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi located in Western Uganda. On arrival, you will have lunch and then head out for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, famously known as the lake of small birds. Getting onto this boat will give you better views of these small birds which concentrate around this Lake. You will also be able to view the beautiful crater lakes designed in a cartoonish way surrounding this area. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for a good time of resting or relaxing while enjoying the beautiful melodies from the birds in this area. Dinner and overnight will at the lodge.
DAY 16

DESTINATION: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK AND GAME DRIVE. Begin your day with breakfast and start your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo National Park is located in Western Uganda. On arrival to the park, you will have lunch and then go out for a game drive to enjoy the beauty of this park. Get ready to look out for birds in this park. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 17

DESTINATION: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

ACTIVITIES: WALKING SAFRI AND BOAT CRUISE ON LAKE MBURO. It is yet another day for you to experience Uganda. Have your breakfast at the lodge before going out for the thrilling walking safari experience through the savannah grasslands of Lake Mburo National Park. Today you will have to walk through the park on foot so that you are able to enjoy birding and the wildlife experience well. This is a safe place which offers you a chance to view birds and animals keenly from a short distance. After the walking safari, you will have lunch and then go for boat cruise on Lake Mburo to have another experience of birding and wildlife adventure. After the boat experience, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 18

DESTINATION: ENTEBBE

ACTIVITIES: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE AND REST. Good Morning Uganda! Wake up and have your breakfast before you check out of the lodge for Entebbe. Your driver will transfer you to Entebbe using the Mbarara - Masaka highway. You will stop over at the equator to take some photos and then continue to Entebbe. Lunch will be had midway your journey. On arrival, you will check in your reserved lodge for an evening of rest and overnight.
DAY 19

DESTINATION: BOTANICAL GARDENS

ACTIVITIES: VISIT BOTANICAL GARDENS. Wake up in the morning, have your breakfast and drive to Entebbe Botanical gardens. You will walk through the trees in the botanical gardens which will reward you with beautiful views of birds. After lunch you will go and have an afternoon of relaxing at the shores of Lake Victoria. Retire at the lodge for dinner and Overnight.
DAY 20

DAY 20: DESTINATION: ENTEBBE

ACTIVITIES: VISIT THE CRAFTS VILLAGE AND AIPORT DROP OFF. Wakeup at leisure, have breakfast and relax at the lodge. Later, you will head out to the crafts market in Entebbe to shop for some souvenirs or opt for a short city tour in Kampala. This city tour is also rewarding since you will have chance to see the different touristic sites that we have in Kampala city which are Cultural, historical and religious. At the end of the day, your driver will transfer you to the airport to catch your departure flight. Hope to see you again!
